Connecting hose: Removal - Refitting

a Use SURFACE CLEANER (see Vehicle: Parts
and consumables for the repair) (04B, Consum-
ables - Products) to clean and degrease the bearing
faces between the connecting hose and the particle
filter.
II - REFITTING OPERATION FOR PART
CONCERNED
a Refit:
- new studs on the particle filter, if they were loos-
ened during the removal procedure,
- a new seal between the connecting hose and the
particle filter,
- the connecting hose.
III - FINAL OPERATION
a Refit:
- the particle filter (see 19B, Exhaust, Particle fil-
ter: Removal - Refitting, page 19B-71) ,
- the lower engine tie-bars (see 1 9 D, Engine
mounting, Lower engine tie-bar: Removal - Re-
fitting, page 19D-85) ,
- the engine undertray.
