Injector rail protector: Removal - Refitting

a Unclip:
- the wiring of the exhaust gas recirculation solenoid
valve at (8) ,
- the cooling hose at (9) .
a Unclip the cover of the back row injector rail protec-
tor at (10) .
a Remove the cover of the back row injector rail pro-
tector.
a Disconnect the diesel injector connectors.
a Move aside the diesel injector wiring.

II - OPERATION FOR REMOVAL OF PART
CONCERNED
a Remove:
- the bolts (11) of the back row injector rail protector,
- the back row injector rail protector,
- the seal of the back row injector rail protector.
REFITTING THE BACK ROW INJECTOR
RAIL PROTECTOR
I - REFITTING PREPARATION OPERATION
a Always replace the seal of the back row injector rail
protector.
II - REFITTING OPERATION FOR PART
CONCERNED
a Refit:
- a new seal of the back row injector rail protector,
- the back row injector rail protector.
III - FINAL OPERATION
a Position the diesel injector wiring.
a Connect the diesel injector connectors.
a Refit the cover of the back row injector rail protector.
a Clip on the cover of the back row injector rail protec-
tor.
