Oxygen sensors: Removal - Refitting

a Loosen the clip (7) on the turbocharger air inlet pipe.
a Remove the turbocharger air inlet pipe.
II - OPERATION FOR REMOVAL OF PART
CONCERNED
a Disconnect the connector (8) from the downstream
oxygen sensor on the gearbox.
a Unclip the downstream oxygen sensor connector
from the gearbox.
a Remove the downstream oxygen sensor (9) using
the tool (Mot. 1495-01).

I - REFITTING OPERATION FOR PART
CONCERNED
a Refit the downstream oxygen sensor.
a Tighten the downstream oxygen sensor using the
tool (Mot. 1495-01).
a Connect the downstream oxygen sensor connector
to the gearbox.
a Clip the downstream oxygen sensor connector to
the gearbox.
II - FINAL OPERATION.
a Refit the turbocharger air inlet pipe.
a Tighten the turbocharger air inlet pipe clip.
a Clip the air filter box air outlet pipe wiring.
a Connect:
- the brake servo connector,
- the turbocharger regulation solenoid valve connec-
tor,
- the oil vapour rebreathing pipe to the air filter unit
air outlet pipe.
- the turbocharging pressure regulation hoses.
a Clip the turbocharging pressure regulation hose
clips.
a Refit:
- the air filter box (see 12A, Fuel mixture, Air filter
unit: Removal - Refitting, page 12A-13) ,
- the engine cover.
