Coolant pump: Removal - Refitting

II - OPERATION FOR REFITTING PART
CONCERNED
1 - First fitting
a Refit:
- a new coolant pump seal,
- the coolant pump,
- the bolts (2) and (5) of the coolant pump.
a Coat the coolant pump bolt (3) with one or two drops
of FRENETANCHE (see Vehicle: Parts and con-
sumables for the repair) (04B, Consumables -
Products).
a Refit the bolts (3) , (1) and (4) of the coolant pump.
a Torque tighten in order the coolant pump bolts (10
N.m).
COOLING
2 - Second fitting
a Refit:
- a new coolant pump seal,

- the coolant pump,
- the bolts (2) and (5) of the coolant pump.
a Coat the coolant pump bolt (1) with one or two drops
of FRENETANCHE (see Vehicle: Parts and con-
sumables for the repair) (04B, Consumables -
Products).
a Refit:
- the bolt (1) of the coolant pump,
- the bolts (3) and (4) of the coolant pump.
a Torque tighten in order the coolant pump bolts (10
N.m).
III - FINAL OPERATION
a Refit:
- the inner timing cover,
- the inner timing cover bolts.
a Tighten the timing cover bolts.
a Fit the alternator in place.
a Refit the alternator upper bolt.
a Tighten the alternator bolts.
a Refit:
- the timing belt (see 11A, Top and front of engine,
19A-77
