Particle filter: Removal - Refitting
M9R, and 800 or 802 or 805 or 806 or 809 or 816 or 845 or 849
a Remove the exhaust heat shield clip (5) .
a Move the exhaust heat shield to one side slightly.
a Disconnect the particle filter downstream tempera-
ture sensor connector (6) .
a Unclip the particle filter downstream temperature
sensor connector on the exhaust heat shield.
EXHAUST

a Unclip the downstream pressure measurement line
and the downstream exhaust gas temperature sen-
sor (7) from the exhaust heat shield.

a Disconnect the particle filter upstream temperature
sensor connector (8) .
a Unclip the particle filter upstream temperature sen-
sor connector from its mounting.
