a Remove:
- the nuts (22) from the injector rail protector,
- the injector rail protector.

Note:
It is essential to use a spanner to hold the inter-
mediate union of the high pressure pump when
loosening the high pressure pipe.
a Remove:
- the nut (23) of the high pressure pipe between the
pump and the rail on the high pressure pump,
- the nut (24) of the high pressure pipe between the
pump and the rail on the injector rail,
- the high pressure pipe between the pump and the
rail.
a Fit blanking plugs on:
- the high pressure pump opening,
- the injector rail opening.
