High pressure pump: Removal - Refitting

a Unclip (8) the cover from the injector rail protector.
a Remove:
- the injector rail protector cover bolt (9) ,
- the injector rail protector cover nut (10) ,
- the injector rail protector cover,
- the dipstick,
- the dipstick well bolts (11) ,
- the dipstick well.
DIESEL INJECTION

a Clean the high pressure pump supply (12) and (13)
fuel return rail unions (see 13B, Diesel injection,
Diesel injection: Precautions for the repair, page
13B-1) .
a Disconnect:
- (12) the high pressure pump supply pipes,
- (13) the pipes from the diesel injector fuel return
rail.
a Fit suitable blanking plugs on:
- the fuel pipes,
- the high pressure pump.
