Oxygen sensors: Removal - Refitting

REFITTING THE UPSTREAM OXYGEN
SENSOR
I - REFITTING OPERATION FOR PART
CONCERNED
a Refit the upstream oxygen sensor using the (Mot.
1495-01).
a Connect the upstream oxygen sensor connector.
a Clip:
- the upstream oxygen sensor connector,
- the upstream oxygen sensor cable.
II - FINAL OPERATION.
a Connect the brake servo vacuum pipe union to the
intake manifold.
a Refit the engine cover.
REMOVAL OF THE DOWNSTREAM

I - REMOVAL PREPARATION OPERATION
a Position the vehicle on a two-post lift (see Vehicle:
Towing and lifting) (02A, Lifting equipment).
PETROL INJECTION

a Remove:
- the bolt (1) on the right-hand side underbody pro-
tector,
- the nut (2) on the right-hand side underbody pro-
tector.
a Remove:
- the right-hand side underbody protector,
- the heat shield behind the right-hand side under-
body protector.
