Exhaust gas pressure sensor: Removal - Refitting

a Remove the exhaust gas pressure sensor clip (12) .
a Unclip the wiring (13) of the exhaust gas tempera-
ture sensor.
a Remove the exhaust gas pressure sensor bolt (14) .
a Loosen the nut (15) on the exhaust gas pressure
sensor using a « crow foot » type wrench.
a Remove the exhaust gas pressure sensor.
a Separate the exhaust gas pressure sensor clip.
a Disconnect the exhaust gas pressure sensor.
a Remove the exhaust gas pressure sensor.

REFITTING
I - REFITTING PREPARATION OPERATION
a Always replace:
- the catalytic pre-converter stay studs,
- the turbocharger heat shield nuts,
- the studs on the heat shield of the turbocharger, if
II - REFITTING OPERATION FOR PART
CONCERNED
a Refit the exhaust gas pressure sensor.
a Connect the exhaust gas pressure sensor.
a Fit the exhaust gas pressure sensor clip.
a Refit:

- the exhaust gas pressure sensor,
- the exhaust gas pressure sensor clip.
a Fit the exhaust gas pressure sensor nut without
tightening it.
a Refit the exhaust gas pressure sensor bolt.
a Torque tighten the exhaust gas pressure sensor
nut (10 N.m) using a « crow foot » type wrench.
a Clip on the exhaust gas temperature sensor wiring.
a Connect the exhaust gas pressure sensor connec-
tor.
III - FINAL OPERATION
a Refit the turbocharger heat shield.
a Fit the rigid cooling pipes of the exhaust fuel injector
cooler on the catalytic pre-converter and the turbo-
charger.
a Refit:
- the nut of the rigid cooling pipes of the exhaust fuel

- the catalytic pre-converter upper stay.
a Fit without tightening the nut of the catalytic pre-con-
verter upper stay.
a Refit the catalytic pre-converter lower stay.
a Fit without tightening the lower stay nuts on the up-
per stay.
a Torque tighten the catalytic pre-converter stay
studs on the cylinder block and on the gearbox
(8 N.m).
