High pressure pump: Removal - Refitting
M9R, and 744 or 748 or 754 or 800 or 802 or 805 or 806 or 808 or 809 or 816 or 845 or 849
- the high pressure pump bolts,
- the intercooler air inlet pipe seal on the turbocharg-
er side.
a Remove the intercooler air inlet pipe seal at the tur-
bocharger end using a tweezers.

Note:
Check that the intercooler air inlet pipe seal is fit-
ted in the right direction in its groove.
a Refit a new seal to the intercooler air inlet pipe at the
turbocharger end.
a Rotate the intercooler air inlet pipe clip in order to re-
fit it in its groove.
If replacing the high pressure pump
a Secure the high pressure pump pinion in a vice's
protective jaws.
a Remove:
- the high pressure pump pinion nut,
- the pinion from the vice.
