Electric coolant pump: Removal - Refitting
M9R, and 802 or 805 or 806 or 808 or 809 or 816 or 845 or 849
Special tooling required
Ms. 583 Pipe clamps.
Mot. 1448 Remote operation pliers for
hose clips.
REMOVAL
I - REMOVAL PREPARATION OPERATION
a Disconnect the battery (see Battery: Removal - Re-
fitting) (80A, Battery).
a Remove the air filter unit (see 12A, Fuel mixture,
Air filter unit: Removal - Refitting, page 12A-13) .
a Remove:
- the bolts (1) from the fuse box,
- the clip (2) from the fuse box.
a Move the fuse box to one side.
COOLING
II - OPERATION FOR REMOVAL OF PART
CONCERNED
a Disconnect the connector (3) from the electric cool-
ant pump.
a Remove the electric coolant pump mounting bolt (4)
on the body.

a Clamp the hoses (5) using tools (Ms. 583).
a Separate the hose clips (6) from the electric coolant
pump hoses using tool (Mot. 1448).
a Disconnect the electric coolant pump hoses.
a Remove the electric coolant pump with its support
