Diesel return pipe: Removal - Refitting

a
WARNING
T o prevent impurities from entering the circuit,
place protective plugs on all fuel circuit compo-
nents exposed to the open air.
a Disconnect the fuel return pipe (5) on the quick-re-
lease union on the high pressure pump side.
a Fit a blanking plug on the quick-release union on the
high pressure pump side.
a Disconnect the fuel return pipe from the injector rail.
a Fit a blanking plug on the injector rail.

a Disconnect the fuel return pipe (6) from the injector
return rail.
a Fit a blanking plug on the injector return rail.
a Disconnect the diesel return pipe from the fuel return
pipe leading to the tank.
a Fit a blanking plug on the fuel return pipe leading to
the tank.
a Remove the fuel return pipe.
