REMOVAL
I - REMOVAL PREPARATION OPERATION
a Position the vehicle on a two-post lift (see Vehicle:
Towing and lifting) (02A, Lifting equipment).
a Remove:
- the exhaust fuel injector cooler (see 19B, Exhaust,
Exhaust fuel injector cooler: Removal - Refit-
ting, page 19B-125) ,
- the engine undertray,
- the exhaust gases duct at the turbocharger outlet
(see Turbocharger outlet exhaust gas duct: Re-
moval - Refitting) ,
- the exhaust gas recirculation rigid pipe (see 14A,
Antipollution, Exhaust gas recirculation rigid
pipe: Removal - Refitting, page 14A-62) ,
- the exhaust gas pressure sensor (see 19B, Ex-
haust, Exhaust gas pressure sensor: Removal -
Refitting, page 19B-93) ,
- the damper valve (see 12A, Fuel mixture, Damp-
er valve: Removal - Refitting, page 12A-39) ,
- the exhaust gas recirculation assembly (see 14A,
Antipollution, Exhaust gas recirculation as-
sembly: Removal - Refitting, page 14A-52) .
EXHAUST
II - OPERATION FOR REMOVAL OF PART
CONCERNED
32 N.m
a Remove the exhaust gas temperature sensor (1) us-
ing the tool (Mot. 1807).
REFITTING
I - REFITTING PREPARATION OPERATION
a If reusing the exhaust gas temperature sensor, coat
the exhaust gas temperature sensor threading with
COPPER ANTI-SEIZE AGENT or COPPER - ALU-
MINIUM LUBRICANT (see Vehicle: Parts and
consumables for the repair) (04B, Consumables -
Products).
II - REFITTING OPERATION FOR PART
CONCERNED
a Refit the exhaust gas temperature sensor.
a Torque tighten the exhaust gas temperature sen-
sor (32 N.m) using the (Mot. 1807).
III - FINAL OPERATION
a Refit:
- the exhaust gas recirculation assembly (see 14A,
- the damper valve (see 12A, Fuel mixture, Damp-
