IMPORTANT
Consult the safety and cleanliness advice and oper-
ation recommendations before carrying out any
repair (see 13B, Diesel injection, Diesel injec-
tion: Precautions for the repair, page 13B-1) .
WARNING
Once the warranty period for the injector rail has
expired, only the pressure sensor can be replaced.
During the injector rail warranty period, the injector
rail should be completely replaced if the pressure
sensor fails.
IMPORTANT
Use the diagnostic tool before any operation is car-
ried out on the injection circuit to check:
- that the rail is not under pressure,
- that the fuel temperature is not too high.
Working on the circuit with the engine running is
strictly forbidden.
REMOVAL
I - REMOVAL PREPARATION OPERATION
a Remove the front engine cover.
DIESEL INJECTION
80 Nm

a Remove:
- the nut (1) from the cooling radiator top hose,
- the bolts (2) from the intercooler air inlet pipe on the
intake distributor.
a Move aside the cooling radiator top hose.
a Rotate the intercooler air inlet pipe clip (3) on the tur-
bocharger side.
a Move the intercooler inlet air pipe to one side.
