High pressure pipe between rails: Removal - Refitting

a Unclip:
- the wiring of the exhaust gas recirculation solenoid
valve at (1) ,
- the cooling hose at (2) .
a Unclip the injector rail protector cover from the back
row at (3) .
a Remove:
- the injector rail protector cover from the back row,
- the injector rail protector from the front row (see
13B, Diesel injection, Injector rail protector: Re-
moval - Refitting, page 13B-126) .
a Drain the cooling system (see 19A, Cooling, Cool-
ing system: Draining - Refilling, page 19A-16) .

a Separate the clip (4) on the exhaust gas recircula-
tion solenoid valve cooling hose using the tool (Mot.
1448).
a Disconnect the exhaust gas recirculation solenoid
valve cooling hose.
a Remove the bolts (5) from the injector rail protector
on the back row.
a Lift the injector rail protector on the back row.
