IMPORTANT
Wear leaktight gloves (Nitrile type) for this opera-
tion.
REMOVAL
I - REMOVAL PREPARATION OPERATION
a Position the vehicle on a two-post lift (see Vehicle:
Towing and lifting) (02A, Lifting equipment).
a Disconnect the battery (see Battery: Removal - Re-
fitting) (80A, Battery).
a Remove:
- the engine undertray bolts,
- the engine undertray,
- the oil filter (see 10A, Engine and cylinder block
assembly, Oil filter: Removal - Refitting, page
10A-117) ,
- the oil pressure sensor (see 10A, Engine and cyl-
inder block assembly, Oil pressure sensor: Re-
moval - Refitting, page 10A-227) .
STARTING - CHARGING
Starter: Removal - Refitting
5 N.m
8 N.m
21 N.m
32 N.m
a Remove:
- the bolts (1) from the oil-water heat exchanger,
- the oil-water heat exchanger seal.
a Move aside the oil-water heat exchanger.
a Attach the oil-water heat exchanger to the body us-
ing a safety strap(s).
