Diesel injector fuel return rail: Removal - Refitting

II - REMOVAL OPERATION FOR PART

a
WARNING
T o prevent impurities from entering the circuit,
place protective plugs on all fuel circuit compo-
nents exposed to the open air.
a Disconnect the quick-release union between the fuel
return pipe and the injector fuel return rail.
a Place blanking plugs:
- on the fuel return pipe,
- on the injector fuel return rail.

a Remove the bolt (2) from the injector fuel return rail
union.
a Lift up the clips (3) between the fuel return rail and
the injectors using a flat-blade screwdriver.
a Disconnect the injector fuel return rail.
a Remove the injector fuel return rail.
a Fit blanking plugs onto the injectors.
