Cooling radiator: Removal - Refitting

a Rotate the intercooler air inlet pipe clip in the locked
position.
a Fit the intercooler air inlet pipe.
a Connect the intercooler air inlet pipe until you hear
the clip make a clicking sound.
a Connect the bottom cooling hose to the cooling radi-
ator.
a Fit the clip for the bottom cooling hose on the cooling
radiator using the tool (Mot. 1448).
a Connect the top cooling hose to the cooling radiator.
a Fit the clip for the top cooling hose on the cooling ra-
diator using the tool (Mot. 1448).
a Remove the blanking plugs.
a Attach the following to the condenser:
- the « compressor - condenser » connecting pipe,
- the « expansion valve - condenser » connecting
pipe.
a Tighten to torque:
- the connecting pipe bracket nut for the
« compressor - condenser » (8 N.m),
- the connecting pipe bracket nut for the
« expansion valve - condenser » (8 N.m).
a Connect the pressure sensor connector.
a Fit the air scoops on the cooling radiator.
a Clip on the cooling radiator air scoops.
COOLING
a Refit:
- the engine cooling fan assembly (see 19A, Cool-
- the front end panel (see Front end panel: Remov-
- the audible warning (see Audible warning: Re-
- the bonnet catch (see Bonnet lock: Removal -
- the headlights (see Headlight: Removal - Refit-
a Connect the battery (see Battery: Removal - Refit-
ting) (80A, Battery).

a Fill and bleed the cooling system (see 19A, Cool-
ing, Cooling system: Draining - Refilling, page
19A-16) .
a Refit:
- the front bumper (see Front bumper: Removal -
- the front wheel arch liners (see Front wheel arch
- the front wheels (see Wheel: Removal - Refitting)
- the engine undertray.
a Perform the following operations:
- fill the refrigerant circuit using a refrigerant charg-
- a leak test (see Refrigerant circuit: Check) (62A,
a Check that the air conditioning is working correctly
(see Air conditioning: Check) (62A, Air condition-
ing).
a Adjust the headlight beams (see Headlight: Adjust-
ment) (80B, Headlights).
a Refit the engine cover.
