a Pull the intercooler air inlet pipe clip (6) .
a Disconnect the intercooler air inlet pipe from the tur-
bocharger.
a Move the intercooler air inlet pipe to one side.
a Detach the injector rail protector cover (7) .
a Remove:
- the injector rail protector cover bolt (8) ,
- the injector rail protector cover nut (9) ,
- the injector rail protector cover,
DIESEL INJECTION
High pressure pipe: Check

a Fit:
- the intercooler air inlet pipe,
- the intercooler air inlet pipe clip in its original posi-
tion.
a Clip the intercooler air inlet pipe to the turbocharger.
a Connect:
- the camshaft position sensor connector,
- the damper valve connector,
- the intercooler air outlet pipe on the damper valve.
a Tighten the intercooler air outlet pipe clip.
II - CHECKING OPERATION FOR PART
CONCERNED
a Apply the checking procedure using the Diagnostic
tool :
- connect the Diagnostic tool,
- select the « diesel injection computer » ,
- go to repair mode,
- display the « before/after repair procedure » for the
computer selected,
- select « high pressure pipe » in the « list of compo-
nents controlled by this computer » section,
- carry out the operations described in the « after re-
pair procedure » section.
III - FINAL OPERATION.
a Undo the intercooler air outlet pipe clip on the damp-
er valve.
a Disconnect the intercooler air outlet pipe from the
damper valve.
a Move aside the intercooler air outlet pipe from the
damper valve.
a Disconnect:
- the damper valve connector,
- the camshaft position sensor connector.
a Pull the intercooler air inlet pipe clip.
a Disconnect the intercooler air inlet pipe from the tur-
bocharger.
a Move the intercooler air inlet pipe to one side.
a Refit:
- the injector rail protector cover,
- the injector rail protector cover nut,
- the injector rail protector cover bolt.
