Heater plugs: Removal - Refitting

a Remove the heater plugs (3) using a 10 mm long
socket.
Note:
If the heater plugs are seized (see Heater plug
removal tool: Use) (Technical Note 5197, 06A,
T ooling).
Note:
Use a hose to unscrew the heater plugs com-
pletely.
REFITTING
I - REFITTING OPERATION FOR PART
CONCERNED
a
Note:
Ensure that no impurities enter the cylinders dur-
ing the operation.
a Refit the heater plugs.
a Torque tighten the heater plugs (18 Nm).
a Connect the heater plug connectors.
II - FINAL OPERATION.
a Clip on the fuel pipe.
PREHEATING
a Refit the engine cover.
