Fuel tank: Removal - Refitting
F4R or K4M or M4R or V4Y
a Unclip the rigid brake pipes (23) from their support.
a Separate the protective sheath from the battery dis-
connection unit supply wiring.
II - OPERATION FOR REMOVAL OF PART
CONCERNED
a Remove:
- the fuel tank bolts (24) ,
TANK
- the fuel tank.
REFITTING
I - REFITTING PREPARATION OPERATION
a parts always to be replaced: Fuel pipe clip be-
tween the fuel tank filler neck and the fuel tank
(11,08,01,05).
4-WHEEL STEERING
a Always replace the four wheel steering actuator
nuts.
a Check the condition of the rubber bush between the
rear axle and the four wheel steering actuator. If the
rubber bush is damaged in the forged wrench, re-
place the rubber bush (see Rear axle rubber bush
134923
- 4-wheel steering actuator: Removal - Refitting)
(33A,Rear axle components).
If the fuel tank is being replaced
a Remove:
- the fuel level sensor module (see Fuel level sen-
sor module: Removal - Refitting) ,
- the fuel vapour absorber (see 14A, Antipollution,
Fuel vapour absorber: Removal - Refitting,
page 14A-9) .
a Refit:
- the fuel vapour absorber (see 14A, Antipollution,
Fuel vapour absorber: Removal - Refitting,
page 14A-9) on the new fuel tank,
- the fuel level sensor module (see Fuel level sen-
sor module: Removal - Refitting) on the new fuel
tank.
II - REFITTING OPERATION FOR PART
CONCERNED
a Fit the fuel tank in place.

a Connect the anti-splashback pipe to the fuel tank.
a Clip the fuel supply pipes onto the fuel tank.
