Manual gearbox: Removal - Refitting
F4R, and PK4
a Disconnect the rigid clutch pipe from the clutch
thrust bearing by lifting the retaining clip.
a Fit the blanking plugs to the end of the clutch pipe
and on the receiver.
a Unclip:
- the gear control cables from the gear selector ball
joints using an open-jawed spanner,
- the gear control cables from their support,
- the oil vapour pipe from the gearbox.
Note:
Do not damage the rigid clutch pipe in order to
avoid any leaks.

a Remove:
- the gear control cables,
- the rigid clutch pipe.
a Remove the cooling assembly protector bolts (3) .
Note:
To remove the clips (4) , unscrew the clip bolt
head a quarter of a turn, then lift it lightly as far
as the stop and remove the clip.
a Remove:
- the cooling assembly protector clips (4) ,
- the cooling assembly protector.
