Exhaust gas recirculation solenoid valve: Removal - Refitting

- the lower engine tie-bars (see 1 9 D, Engine
mounting, Lower engine tie-bar: Removal - Re-
fitting, page 19D-85) .
a Refit new connecting hose studs to the catalytic pre-
converter, if loosened during removal.
a Fit the exhaust pipe.
a Refit new connecting hose nuts to the catalytic pre-
converter.
a Tighten the stud bolt on the subframe.
a Fill and bleed the cooling system (see 19A, Cool-
ing, Cooling system: Draining - Refilling, page
19A-16) .
a Refit:
- the engine undertray,
- the engine cover.
a Connect the battery (see Battery: Removal - Refit-
ting) (80A, Battery).
a Apply the after repair procedure using the Diagnos-
tic tool :
- connect the Diagnostic tool,
- select the « injection computer » ,
- go to repair mode,
- display the « before/after repair procedure » for the
computer selected,
- select « EGR valve » in the « List of components
controlled by this computer section » ,
- carry out the operations described in the « After re-
pair procedure » section.
