Left-hand suspended engine mounting: Removal - Refitting

a Remove:
- the bolts (15) from the suspended engine mounting
support shaft on the gearbox,
- the suspended engine mounting support shaft from
the gearbox (16) .
REFITTING
I - REFITTING PREPARATION OPERATION
a Always replace:
- the radiator mounting cross member bolts,
- the tie rod rear bolts.
II - REFITTING OPERATION FOR PART
CONCERNED
a Refit the suspended engine mounting support shaft
on the gearbox.
a Torque tighten the bolts of the suspended engine
mounting support shaft on the gearbox (105
N.m).
a Refit the suspended engine mounting rubber pad on
the gearbox.
a Torque tighten the rubber pad upper bolts of the
suspended engine mounting on the gearbox
(105 N.m).
a Slightly raise the engine until the suspended engine
mounting rubber pad on the gearbox comes into
contact with the suspended engine mounting rubber
pad support on the gearbox.
ENGINE MOUNTING

a Torque tighten the central nut of the suspended
engine mounting shaft on the gearbox (62 N.m).
III - FINAL OPERATION
a Remove the retaining shoe of the tool (Mot. 1672).
a Unlock the retaining bar of the tool (Mot. 1672).
a Remove:
- the retaining bar of the tool (Mot. 1672),
- the retaining bars of the tool (Mot. 1720).
- the four pins of the tool (Mot. 1852).
a Refit:
- new radiator mounting cross member bolts,
- new rear tie rod bolts.
a Torque tighten the new tie rod rear bolts (105
N.m).
a Refit the engine tie-bar.
a Torque tighten the engine tie-bar bolts (180 N.m).
a Refit the engine wiring guide.
a Fit the wiring protective sheath on the automatic
gearbox.
a Refit:
- the mountings of the wiring protective sheath on
the automatic transmission,
- the battery disconnection unit (see Battery dis-
connection unit: Removal - Refitting) (80A, Bat-
tery),
- the air filter unit (see 12A, Fuel mixture, Air filter
unit: Removal - Refitting, page 12A-13) ,
- the air outlet pipe of the air filter unit.
a Torque tighten the air filter box air outlet pipe
clips (6 N.m).
a Connect:
- the oil vapour rebreathing pipe,
- the vacuum pipe from the brake servo.
a Fit the clip onto the oil vapour rebreathing hose us-
ing the tool (Mot. 1448).
a Refit:
- the engine undertray,
- the engine cover.
a Connect the battery (see Battery: Removal - Refit-
ting) (80A, Battery).
