High pressure pipe between pump and rail: Removal - Refitting
K9K, and 780
a Move aside the electrical wiring.
a Remove:
- the intercooler air inlet pipe bolt (4) ,
- the intercooler air inlet pipe nut (5) .
a Pull the intercooler air inlet pipe clip (6) .
a Disconnect the intercooler air inlet pipe from the tur-
bocharger.
a Move the intercooler air inlet pipe to one side.

a Detach the injector rail protector cover (7) .
a Remove:
- the injector rail protector cover bolt (8) ,
- the injector rail protector cover nut (9) ,
- the injector rail protector cover,
- the dipstick,
- the dipstick well bolts (10) ,
- the dipstick well.
a Disconnect the heater plug connectors (11) .
