High pressure pipe between rail and injector: Removal - Refitting

Mot. 1746 Offset wrench for tightening
High Pressure pump pipes.
Mot. 1566 Tool for removing high pres-
sure pipes.
Equipment required
tweezers
Tightening torquesm
nuts on the high pres-
sure pipes between the
rail and the injector on
the injector rail side
nuts on the high pres-
sure pipes between the
rail and the injector on
the diesel injector side
injector rail nuts
injector rail protector
nuts
dipstick guide bolts
IMPORTANT
To avoid all risk of damage to the systems, apply
the safety and cleanliness instructions and opera-
tion recommendations before carrying out any
repair:

- (see Vehicle: Precautions for the repair) (01D,
Mechanical introduction).
IMPORTANT
Wear leaktight gloves (Nitrile type) for this opera-
tion.
REMOVAL
I - REMOVAL PREPARATION OPERATION
a Disconnect the battery (see Battery: Removal - Re-
fitting) (80A, Battery).

a Remove:
- the nut (1) on the intercooler air inlet pipe,
- the bolt (2) on the intercooler air inlet pipe,
- the clip (3) from the intercooler air inlet pipe.
a Disconnect the intercooler air inlet pipe.
a Move aside the intercooler air inlet pipe.
