Exhaust gas recirculation solenoid valve: Removal - Refitting
K9K, and 782
- the exhaust gas recirculation solenoid valve
a Torque tighten the exhaust gas recirculation sole-
noid valve bolts (10 N.m).
a Connect the heater matrix cooling pipe to the ex-
haust gas recirculation solenoid valve.
a Fit the clip of the heater matrix cooling pipe using the
tool (Mot. 1448).
a Connect the cooling pipe to the exhaust gas recircu-
lation solenoid valve.
a Refit a new clip on the cooling pipe of the exhaust
gas recirculation solenoid valve.
a Remove the tools (Ms. 583).
a Connect the connector for the exhaust gas recircula-
tion solenoid valve.
III - FINAL OPERATION
a Refit:
- a new seal on the turbocharger air inlet pipe.
- the turbocharger air inlet pipe.
a Torque tighten:
- the turbocharger air inlet pipe bolts on the tur-
bocharger (8 N.m),
- the nut of the turbocharger air inlet pipe on the
exhaust gas recirculation assembly (8 N.m).
a Refit the engine undertray.
a Connect the oil vapour rebreathing union to the rock-
er cover.
a Clip the control pipe of the turbocharging pressure
regulation valve onto the turbocharger air inlet pipe.
a Refit the air filter unit air outlet pipe.
a Clip the air flowmeter wiring onto the air filter unit air
outlet pipe.
a Fill and bleed the cooling system (see 19A, Cool-
ing, Cooling system: Draining - Refilling, page
19A-16) .
a Apply the after repair procedure using the Diagnos-
tic tool :
- connect the Diagnostic tool,
- select "Injection computer",
- go to repair mode,
- display the "Before/after repair procedure" for the
computer selected,
- select "Exhaust gas recirculation solenoid valve" in
the "List of components controlled by this comput-
er" section,

- carry out the operations described in the "After re-
pair procedure" section.
