Particle filter pressure sensor: Removal - Refitting

a Remove the particle filter pressure sensor nut (3) .
a Separate the particle filter pressure sensor from its
mounting.
a Remove the particle filter pressure sensor mounting.
a Unclip the pressure measurement pipe of the parti-
cle filter pressure sensor from the heat shield.
a Separate the « particle filter pressure measurement
pipe - particle filter pressure sensor » assembly.
a Loosen the nut (4 ) using a « crow foot » type
wrench.
a Remove the particle filter pressure sensor.

CONCERNED
a Refit the particle filter pressure sensor.
a Coat the threaded union of the particle filter pressure

sensor with COPPER ALUMINIUM LUBRICANT
(see Vehicle: Parts and consumables for the re-
pair) (04B, Consumables - Products).
a Torque tighten the particle filter pressure sensor
nut (21 N.m) using a « crow foot » type wrench.
a Fit the « particle filter pressure measurement pipe -
particle filter pressure sensor » assembly.
a Clip the pressure measurement pipe of the particle
filter pressure sensor onto the heat shield.
a Refit the particle filter pressure sensor mounting.
a Fit the particle filter pressure sensor on its mounting.
a Refit the particle filter pressure sensor on its mount-
ing.
a Connect the particle filter pressure sensor connec-
tor.
a Fit the « mounting - particle filter pressure sensor »
assembly.
a Refit the particle filter pressure sensor mounting.
III - FINAL OPERATION
a Refit:
- the lower engine tie-bars (see 1 9 D, Engine

- the engine undertray.

WARNING
Never separate the pressure measurement pipes
from the par ticle filter pressure sensor.
Replace the « sensor - pipes - end piece »
assembly, if necessary, supplied as a unit by the
Parts Department.
