Particle filter temperature sensors: Removal - Refitting

IMPORTANT
Wear protective gloves during the operation.
REMOVAL
I - REMOVAL PREPARATION OPERATION
a Position the vehicle on a two-post lift (see Vehicle:
Towing and lifting) (02A, Lifting equipment).
a Remove the engine undertray.
II - OPERATION FOR REMOVAL OF PART
CONCERNED
a Disconnect the connector (1) from the particle filter
temperature sensor.
a Unclip the connector of the particle filter sensor.
EXHAUST
44 N.m
a Unclip the wiring (2) of the particle filter temperature
sensor.
a Remove the particle filter temperature sensor (3) us-
ing the tool (Mot. 1807).
REFITTING
I - REFITTING PREPARATION OPERATION
a If reusing the particle filter temperature sensor, coat
the sensor threading with COPPER ANTI-SEIZE
AGENT or COPPER-ALUMINIUM LUBRICANT
(see Vehicle: Parts and consumables for the re-
pair) (04B, Consumables - Products).
II - REFITTING OPERATION FOR PART
CONCERNED
a Refit the particle filter temperature sensor.
a Torque tighten the particle filter temperature sen-
sor (44 N.m) using the tool (Mot. 1807).
a Clip:
- the particle filter temperature sensor wiring,
- the particle filter temperature sensor connector.
a Connect the particle filter temperature sensor con-

III - FINAL OPERATION
a Refit the engine undertray.
