Manual gearbox: Removal - Refitting
K9K, and TL4
a Unclip (17) the wiring from the power-assisted steer-
ing pump of the manual gearbox.
Note:
Before removing the earth terminal, mark its
position using an indelible marker by drawing a
line on the earth terminal and on the gearbox
casing.
When reassembling, improper positioning of the
earth terminal on the gearbox casing could result
in damage to the earth terminal or earth wiring.
a Remove the bolt (18) from the earth wiring on the
manual gearbox.
a Unclip the drain pipe from the manual gearbox rail
protector.

a Remove:
- the catalytic converter downstream strut bolts (19) ,
- the catalytic converter downstream strut nut (20) ,
- the catalytic converter downstream strut,
a Remove the lower bolts (21) from the manual gear-
box.
