High pressure pipe between rail and injector: Removal - Refitting

II - OPERATION FOR REMOVAL OF PART
CONCERNED
1 - Removing one, two or three high pressure pipes
between the injector rail and the injector:
a
WARNING
The injector intermediate union (10) must be held
using a spanner while the high pressure pipes
are loosened (11) .
Do not damage the injector return nozzle.
WARNING
T o avoid any corrosion or damage, protect the
areas on which fuel is likely to run.

a Loosen the nuts of the high pressure pipe(s) be-
tween the rail and injectors.
a Remove the high pressure pipe(s) between the in-
jector rail and the injectors.
a Fit blanking plugs:
- on the opening(s) of the injector rail,
- on the opening(s) of the injector(s).
2 - Removing four high pressure pipes between the
injector rail and the injector:
a Remove the dipstick.
