Fuel tank: Removal - Refitting
F4R or K4M or M4R or V4Y
4-WHEEL STEERING
a Ensure:
- the position of the four wheel steering actuator (25)
,
- the routing of the wiring (26) ,
- the position of the actuator linkage (27) on the com-
pensator,
- the position, head down, of the actuator bolts (28) .
TANK
a Refit:
- the four wheel steering actuator starting with the
linkage on the rear axle side and then on the com-
pensator side,
- new nuts on the four wheel steering actuator.
a Clip the wiring strap.
a Attach the actuator wiring on the fuel tank.
a Connect the connectors.
a Refit the earth strap.
a Torque tighten:
- the four wheel drive actuator's new nuts (84
N.m),
- the earth strap nut (8 N.m).
a Refit the ball joint protector.
a Torque tighten the fuel tank bolts (21 N.m).

III - FINAL OPERATION
a Remove the component support.
V4Y
a Clip the rigid brake pipes onto their support.
a Fit the protective sheath on the battery disconnec-
tion unit supply wiring.
a Refit the mountings of the supply wiring protective
sheath on the battery disconnection unit.
4-WHEEL STEERING
a Clip the rigid brake pipes onto their support.

a Connect the fuel tank filler neck hose to the fuel
tank.
M4R
a Torque tighten the filler neck earth bolt (21 N.m).
