Diesel injector fuel return rail: Removal - Refitting

IMPORTANT
To avoid all risk of damage to the systems, apply
the safety and cleanliness instructions and opera-
tion recommendations before carrying out any
repair:

- (see Vehicle: Precautions for the repair) (01D,
Mechanical introduction).
IMPORTANT
Wear leaktight gloves (Nitrile type) for this opera-
tion.
REMOVAL
I - REMOVAL PREPARATION OPERATION
a Remove the front engine cover.
a Loosen the clip (1) on the intercooler air outlet pipe.
a Disconnect the intercooler outlet air pipe on the
damper valve.
a Move the intercooler air outlet pipe away from the
damper valve.
DIESEL INJECTION

a Disconnect:
- the damper valve connector (2) ,
- the connector (3) from the camshaft position sen-
sor.
a Unpick the electrical wiring from the injector rail pro-
tector cover.
a Move the electrical wiring to one side.
a Remove:
- the bolt (4) on the intercooler air inlet pipe,
- the nut (5) on the intercooler air inlet pipe.
