Exhaust gas cooler: Removal - Refitting

II - OPERATION FOR REMOVAL OF PART
CONCERNED
1 - First fitting
a Remove:
- the bolts (1) from the exhaust gas cooler mounting
on the timing end,
- the exhaust gas cooler mounting on the timing end,
- the exhaust gas cooler mounting seal,
- the bolts (2) from the exhaust gas cooler mounting,
- the exhaust gas cooler,
ANTIPOLLUTION

- the exhaust gas cooler mounting seal on the fly-
wheel end.
2 - Second fitting
a Remove the following on the workbench:
- the bolts (3) from the exhaust gas cooler mounting
on the flywheel end,
- the exhaust gas cooler,
- the exhaust gas cooler mounting seal on the fly-
wheel end.
REFITTING
I - REFITTING PREPARATION OPERATION
a parts always to be replaced: turbocharger air
cooler air inlet pipe seal (10,09,04,04).
