Exhaust gas recirculation solenoid valve: Removal - Refitting

a Remove the bolt (2) from the particle filter rubber
mounting bush.
a Move the exhaust pipe to one side.
a Remove:
- the lower engine tie-bars (see 1 9 D, Engine
mounting, Lower engine tie-bar: Removal - Re-
fitting, page 19D-85) ,
- the right-hand suspended engine mounting (see
19D, Engine mounting, Right-hand suspended
engine mounting: Removal - Refitting, page
19D-51) ,
- the rigid exhaust gas recirculation pipe (see 14A,
Antipollution, Exhaust gas recirculation rigid
pipe: Removal - Refitting, page 14A-62) .

a Remove the clip (3) from the turbocharger cooling
hose using the tool (Mot. 1448).
a Disconnect the turbocharger cooling hose.
a Remove the nut (4) from the turbocharger cooling
pipe on the catalytic pre-converter.
a Loosen the turbocharger heat shield nut (5) .
a Remove the turbocharger heat shield nuts (6) ,
