Diesel injector fuel return rail: Removal - Refitting

a Unclip:
- the wiring of the exhaust gas recirculation solenoid
valve at (1) ,
- the cooling hose at (2) .
a Unclip the cover of the back row injector rail protec-
tor at (3) .
a Remove the cover (4) of the back row injector rail
protector.
a Drain the cooling system (see 19A, Cooling, Cool-
ing system: Draining - Refilling, page 19A-16) .

a Separate the clip (5) of the exhaust gas recirculation
solenoid valve cooling hose using the tool (Mot.
1448).
a Disconnect the exhaust gas recirculation solenoid
valve cooling hose.
a Separate the clip (6) of the exhaust gas recirculation
solenoid valve outlet hose.
a Disconnect the exhaust gas recirculation solenoid
valve outlet hose.
