Cooling radiator: Removal - Refitting
K4M or M4R
a Unclip the cooling fan assembly at (11) .
a Remove the cooling fan assembly.
REFITTING
I - REFITTING PREPARATION OPERATION
a Always replace the air conditioning pipe seals.
On the workbench
a Refit the cooling fan assembly.
a Clip the cooling fan assembly in place.
a Refit the condenser.
a Clip on the condenser.
II - REFITTING OPERATION FOR PART
CONCERNED
a Refit the "cooling radiator - condenser" assembly.
III - FINAL OPERATION.
a Refit the new seals on the air conditioning pipes.
a Fit on the condenser:
- the « compressor - condenser » connecting pipe,
- the « expansion valve - condenser » connecting
pipe.
COOLING
a Tighten to torque:
- the bolt on the « compressor - condenser con-
- the bolt on the « expansion valve - condenser »
a Connect the pressure sensor connector.
a Refit the cooling radiator air scoops.
a Connect:
- the expansion bottle cooling hose on the cooling
- the upper cooling hose from the cooling radiator.
a Fit:
- the expansion bottle cooling hose clip on the cool-
- the upper cooling hose clip on the cooling radiator
a Clip:
123471
- the fan assembly wiring,
- the fan assembly resistor wiring.
a Connect:
- the fan assembly connector,
- the fan assembly resistor connector.
a Refit:
- the front end panel (see Front end panel: Remov-
- the cooling radiator upper cover,
- the headlights (see Headlight: Removal - Refit-
- the front bumper (see Front bumper: Removal -
- the front wheel arch liners (see Front wheel arch
- the front wheels (see Wheel: Removal - Refitting)
- the engine undertray.
a Connect the battery (see Battery: Removal - Refit-
ting) (80A, Battery).
a Perform the following operations:
- fill the cooling circuit using a refrigerant charging
- bleed the cooling circuit (see 19A, Cooling, Cool-
