Exhaust gas recirculation assembly: Removal - Refitting
K9K, and 780
a Disconnect the connector (5) from the exhaust gas
recirculation solenoid valve.
a Remove the damper valve (see 12A, Fuel mixture,
Damper valve: Removal - Refitting, page 12A-39)

a Remove the bolts (6) from the rail protector bracket.

a Remove:
- the bolts (7) from the « timing end lifting eye - air in-
let metal tube » assembly,
- the timing end lifting eye,
- the air inlet metal tube,
- the engine undertray bolts,
- the engine undertray,
- the catalytic converter (see 19B, Exhaust, Cata-
lytic converter: Removal - Refitting, page 19B-
32) ,
- the EGR rigid pipe (see 14A, Antipollution, Ex-
haust gas recirculation rigid pipe: Removal -
Refitting, page 14A-62) .
