Exhaust gas recirculation solenoid valve: Removal - Refitting
M9R, and 754 or 800 or 802 or 803 or 805 or 806 or 808 or 809 or 816 or 845 or 849
II - OPERATION FOR REMOVAL OF PART
CONCERNED
a Disconnect the connector (6) from the exhaust gas
recirculation solenoid valve.
a Remove:
- the bolts (7) from the exhaust gas recirculation so-
lenoid valve,
- the exhaust gas recirculation solenoid valve,
- the exhaust gas recirculation solenoid valve seal.
REFITTING
I - REFITTING PREPARATION OPERATION
a Clean the exhaust gas recirculation solenoid valve
(only the mechanical part) using a parts washer
(see Exhaust gas recirculation solenoid valve:
Cleaning) .
a Clean and degrease the bearing faces of the ex-
haust gas recirculation solenoid valve using SUR-
FACE CLEANER
consumables for the repair) (04B, Consumables -
Products).
a Always replace:
- the seals on the exhaust gas recirculation solenoid
valve,
- the exhaust gas recirculation rigid pipe at the ex-
haust gas cooler outlet,
- the seals on the intercooler air inlet pipe.
ANTIPOLLUTION

a Remove the intercooler air inlet pipe seals using a
tweezers.
a Fit the intercooler air inlet pipe with new seals.
Note:
Position the lip of the seal (8) towards the inside
of the intercooler air inlet pipe.
