a Connect the four transparent hoses of the tool (Mot.
1711) on the diesel injectors in place of each union
of the diesel injector fuel return rail.
Note:
The hose must be fitted with force on the diesel
injector fuel return nipple.
If a hose of the tool (Mot. 1711) fits too easily
onto the diesel injector fuel nipple, due to hose
deformation, cut off the widened section of this
hose in order to obtain a smaller diameter and to
ensure that the hose is secure on the injector
during the pressurised test phase.
a Insert these pipes in the four graduated measuring
cylinders (11) of the tool (Mot. 1711).
a Fit the clip for the intercooler air outlet pipe.
a Clip the intercooler air outlet pipe on the damper
valve.
a Connect the turbocharger pressure sensor connec-
tor.
a Refit the clip of the intercooler air inlet pipe.
a Clip the intercooler air inlet pipe onto the turbocharg-
er air outlet pipe.
II - CHECKING OPERATION FOR PART
CONCERNED
a Connect a self-contained starter.
a Force the vehicle's + after ignition feed.
a Connect the Diagnostic tool.
a Run commands:
- RZ009 Program vehicle functions,
- VP036 Inhibit fuel supply.
DIESEL INJECTION
Injector leak flow: Check

a Run the starter for 15 seconds.
a Check that the diesel injector return volume is great-
er than or equal to 20 ml.
a Repeat the starting phase twice, allowing an interval
of 30 seconds between each starting phase.
a Run command VP037 Stop fuel supply inhibition.
a Disconnect:
- the Diagnostic tool,
- the self-contained starter.
III - FINAL OPERATION
a Remove the clip from the intercooler air inlet pipe.
a Disconnect the intercooler air inlet pipe.
a Move aside the intercooler air inlet pipe.
a Disconnect the turbocharging pressure sensor con-
nector.
a Pull the clip of the intercooler air outlet pipe.
a Move the intercooler air outlet pipe to one side.
a Use a tweezers to remove:
- the intercooler air outlet pipe seal,
- the intercooler air inlet pipe seal.
