Thermoplunger unit: Removal - Refitting

REFITTING
I - REFITTING PREPARATION OPERATION
If replacing the thermoplunger unit:
a Remove:
- the nuts (5) on the thermoplunger unit wiring,
- the thermoplunger unit wiring.
a Refit the thermoplunger unit wiring on the new ther-
moplunger unit.
II - REFITTING OPERATION FOR PART
CONCERNED
a Refit the thermoplunger unit.
a Connect:
- the thermoplunger unit connector,
- the thermoplunger unit pipes.
a Position the clips on the thermoplunger unit pipes
using the tool (Mot. 1448).
a Remove the tools (Ms. 583) from the pipes of the
thermoplunger unit.
III - FINAL OPERATION
a Refit the engine undertray.
COOLING
a Connect the battery (see Battery: Removal - Refit-
ting) (80A, Battery).
a Top up and bleed the cooling system (see 19A,
Cooling, Cooling system: Draining - Refilling,
page 19A-16) .

WARNING
Before bleeding the cooling system, it is essential
to deactivate the thermoplungers to avoid irrepa-
rably damaging them.
