Heater plugs: Removal - Refitting
K9K, and 780
a Remove the clip (6) from the intercooler inlet air
pipe.
a Disconnect the intercooler air inlet pipe from the tur-
bocharger.
a Move the intercooler inlet air pipe to one side.
a Unclip (7) the cover from the injector rail protector.
a Remove:
- the injector rail protector cover bolt (8) ,
- the injector rail protector cover nut (9) ,
- the injector rail protector cover,

a Disconnect the heater plug connectors (10) .
a Fit protective goggles.
a Clean around the outside of the heater plugs with a

Wear goggles with side protectors for this opera-
tion.
