Rail pressure sensor: Removal - Refitting

a Remove the injector rail protector panel using the
tabs (4) .
a Unclip the fuel supply pipes to access the sensor.

a
WARNING
To prevent impurities from entering the circuit,
place protective plugs on all fuel circuit compo-
nents exposed to the open air.
a Disconnect the rail pressure sensor connector.
a Remove the rail pressure sensor (5) .
a Fit a blanking plug.
REFITTING
I - REFITTING OPERATION FOR PART
CONCERNED
a
WARNING
Do not remove the blanking plugs from each
component until the last moment.
Also, do not remove the components from their
packaging until they are to be fitted to the vehi-
cle.
a Remove the blanking plug.
Note:
The rail pressure sensor is fitted without a seal.
