This section explains how to input characters. The software keyboard shown
below is displayed on the screen where characters are input.

Press the ENT Key.
The character is set and the I cursor moves one space to the right.

Repeat these steps to input more characters.

Once all required characters have been input, move the cursor to END.

The characters will be set.
Characters can be input from a personal computer via a serial interface. Refer
to 6.4 Serial Interface (Menu Operations).

Inserts a space.
Deletes 1character to the right of the I cursor.

Deletes 1character to the left of the I cursor.
INS
Switches between insert (default)/overwrite.
Moves the I cursor to the left.
Moves the I cursor to the right.
Ends character input.
