REMOVAL
I - REMOVAL PREPARATION OPERATION
a Position the vehicle on a two-post lift (see Vehicle:
Towing and lifting) (MR 415, 02A, Lifting equip-
ment).
a Remove:
- the front left-hand wheel (see Wheel: Removal -
Refitting) (MR 415, 35A, Wheels and tyres),
- the engine undertray bolts,
- the engine undertray.
a Drain the gearbox (see 21A, Manual gearbox,
Manual gearbox oils: Draining - Filling, page
21A-2) .
II - REMOVAL OPERATION FOR PART
CONCERNED
a Unclip:
- the wheel speed sensor wiring,
- the brake hose.

a Remove:
- the nut (1) from the hub, immobilising the hub using
the (Rou. 604-01),
- the track rod end nut (2) .
a Detach the track rod end using the (Tav. 476).
a Remove the shock absorber base bolts (3) .
a Push the driveshaft (5) away from the stub axle car-
rier (4) by rotating the latter.
a Remove the front left-hand driveshaft.
