Oil pressure switch: Removal - Refitting

a Remove the air inlet pipe seal of the intercooler us-
ing a tweezers.
a
Note:
Check that the seal of the intercooler air inlet
pipe is fitted the correct way round.
a Refit a new seal on the intercooler air inlet pipe.

II - REFITTING OPERATION FOR PART
CONCERNED
a Refit the oil pressure switch concerned.
a Torque tighten the oil pressure switch (4.4 N.m).
a Connect the oil pressure switch connector.
III - FINAL OPERATION
a Refit:
- a new hydraulic distributor housing seal,
- the hydraulic distributor housing.
a Torque tighten the hydraulic distributor housing
bolts (8 Nm).
a Refit:
- the power-assisted steering pipe bolt,
- the intercooler air inlet pipe.
a Fit the intercooler air inlet pipe clip on the intercool-
er.
a Connect the air pipe between the rigid pipe and the
outlet hose of the turbocharger.
a Tighten the clip of the air pipe between the rigid pipe
and the outlet hose of the turbocharger.
a Refit the turbocharger air outlet pipe nut.
a Fit the turbocharger air outlet pipe.
a Connect the battery (see Battery: Removal - Refit-
ting) (80A, Battery).
a Top up the automatic transmission (see 23A, Auto-
matic gearbox, Automatic gearbox oil: Draining -
Filling, page 23A-29) .
a Apply the after repair procedure using the Diagnos-
tic tool :
- connect the Diagnostic tool,
- select « Gearbox computer » ,
- go to repair mode,
- display the « before/after repair procedure » for the
computer selected,
- select « Hydraulic distributor » in the « List of com-
ponents controlled by this computer » section,
- carry out the operations described in the « After re-
pair procedure » section.
a Refit the engine undertray.
