REMOVAL
I - REMOVAL PREPARATION OPERATION
a Position the vehicle on a two-post lift (see Vehicle:
Towing and lifting) (02A, Lifting equipment).
a Disconnect the battery (see Battery: Removal - Re-
fitting) (80A, Battery).
a Remove:
- the engine undertray bolts,
- the engine undertray.
a Drain the automatic gearbox oil (see 23A, Automat-
ic gearbox, Automatic gearbox oil: Draining -
Filling, page 23A-29) .

4.4 N.m
8 Nm
a Remove the turbocharger outlet air pipe nut (1) .
a Move aside the turbocharger air outlet pipe.
a Loosen the clip of the air pipe between the rigid pipe
and the outlet hose of the turbocharger.
a Disconnect the air pipe between the rigid pipe and
the outlet hose of the turbocharger.
a Rotate the intercooler air inlet pipe clip (2) on the in-
tercooler.
a Remove the inlet pipe from the intercooler.
