LINK OAM Commands

efm-oam port hello-interval

Configures the time interval (in seconds) by which the information OAMPDUs are transmitted out of an
LINK OAM enabled port.
efm-oam port slot/port[-port2] hello-interval seconds

Defaults
By default, the hello-interval value is set to 1 second.
Platforms Supported
OmniSwitch 6400, 6850, 6850E, 6855.
Usage Guidelines
Use the hello-interval value of 1 second to reset the timer to its default value.
On a given port, hello interval time period should not be more than half of keep alive timer on the peer
port.
Examples
-> efm-oam port 1/1 hello-interval 5
-> efm-oam port 2/1-10 hello-interval 10

The slot number for the module and the physical port number on that
module (e.g. 3/1 specifies port 1 on slot 3).
Specifies the last port in the range of ports.
Specifies the time interval (in seconds) this port waits before sending
out the next hello packet.The range for this timer is 1 to 60 seconds.
