Port Mobility Commands
Usage Guidelines
Use the no form of this command to delete a binding port-protocol rule from the specified VLAN.
If only the frame's port matches the port specified in this rule, a binding rule violation occurs and the
device frame is blocked and its port is not assigned to the VLAN. There is no further attempt to
compare the frame to other VLAN rules.
If only the frame's protocol matches the protocol specified in this rule, the frame is allowed but the
port is still not assigned to the VLAN. The frame is then compared to other VLAN rules for possible
matches.
Binding port-protocol rules take precedence behind all other binding rules.
Rules are only assigned to existing VLANs. Use the vlan command to create a new VLAN.
Examples
-> vlan 10 binding port-protocol 5/1 ipx-e2
-> vlan 20 binding port-protocol 7/2 dsapssap F0/F0
-> vlan 20 no binding port-protocol 7/2 dsapssap F0/F0
