Example
To set the receive and transmit values for the cable to gain36 and -7.5db:

cablelength short

Use the cablelength short command to configure transmit levels for a cable of length 655
feet or shorter. Use the no form of the command to restore the transmit level to its default value.
Note:
The transmit attenuation is configured using the loop length.
